OUT ON THE FRIO
I’m so excited to share with you my latest song, “Out on the Frio”! I wrote this in 2023 for the annual Songs on the Frio event in Leakey, Texas. Along with my good friend and vocalist, Yuri, we entered the song into a songwriting contest at Fiesta JAM in Marble Falls and, to our surprise, we took first place! We even got to open up for Los Lonely Boys, which was an incredible experience.
As part of our winnings, we received professional recording time in a local studio and took home some amazing prizes, including a trophy and a handmade Tele-style electric guitar made by renowned luthier, Brian Hibler.
But the best part is that “Out on the Frio” is now on the playlist for a radio station that reaches millions of listeners!
